Shiba Inu Puppies
Shiba’s are descended from primitive dogs of Japan. They were bred to hunt small game, boars, and bears. They are medium-sized dogs, medium-boned, compact, well-muscled, and very agile. Fenced yards are a must unless you live in an apartment. A Shiba will use any opportunity to get free and bolt if given a chance, and socialization and obedience are a must. Shiba’s can be aggressive unless given a proper education. They can be strong-willed and possessive of their things and people. They need to learn proper manners. Puppies tend to use their mouths to “taste” their humans, and they must learn not to be rough.
Information was acquired from the National Shiba Club via AKC.
Our Shiba’s are socialized and hand on from the day they are born. Many of our customers tell us they are potty trained when they come to them. The way we raise our puppies and the intelligence and cleanliness of the breed is the reason people do not have much trouble with potty training.
